Paleo Coconut Berry Smoothie

Get your fruit on! Keep cool with this Paleo smoothie recipe! Plus, it is low glycemic, meaning it won’t spike your blood sugar. Most importantly it’s quick, easy and refreshing!

Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup coconut milk or almond milk

- 1 1/2 frozen berries (berries can include strawberries, cherries, raspberries, blackberries)

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tbsp almond butter

- 2-4 ice cubes (optional)

- a handful of spinach (optional)

 

Directions:

Add berries, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and almond butter to the blender. Blend for 1 minute until desired consistency.
